Most upvc door failures are caused by the poor positioning of keepers on the frame when first fitted. If your handles feel hard to push up or the key is difficult to turn then its usually because the mechanism hooks cannot go into the frame keeps the way they should. This problem can be fixed at little cost if the door is re-aligned before the mechanism fails. More often than not our customers leave it until its too late and therefore have to get a new upvc door mechanism fitted at a much higher cost.
